History:
Leia's parents, Gerald Diamanti and Isabelle Diamanti (nee Armstrong), first met when during the summer of Gerald's sixth year at Hogwarts and Isabelle's fifth year at a Muggle girls' boarding school. It didn't take long for the two of them to fall in love, although Gerald refrained from telling her that he was a wizard until after they'd been dating for a year. Isabelle, thinking that it was a joke, paid no attention to his admission until their wedding day, when Gerald caused white confetti to fall from the sky, seemingly from nowhere, onto the both of them as they made their way down the aisle after being pronounced as man and wife.
Life seemed to go along normally for the Diamantis until their first and only child, Leia, was born. Afraid that their daughter would take after her father, Isabelle was determined to give Leia the best Muggle upbringing as was possible. Gerald, however, was having none of it, and undermined his wife in any way he could, telling his daughter all about Hogwarts as she grew up and how she could expect to go there once she was older.
The tension between the couple gradually grew until it finally exploded in the form of a very loud fight between Gerald and Isabelle. Isabelle threatened to take Leia away from her husband, but was unsuccessful in the attempt. At this point in time, the Diamantis are separated with no plans of reconciliation in the works.
